For my contribution to the Portland Institute of Contemporary Art’s Time Based Arts Festival I explored ten different brew pubs. People were invited to take a break with me and enjoy Portland’s best offerings. The project was a response to Tom Marioni’s Drinking Beer With Friends is the Highest Form of Art, considering the pub as a space to build organic conversation, while taking into consideration a mapping of beer culture and neighborhood exploration.
